1.英语里有一些动词如：recall，deny, forget, regret, remember, admit, repent, recollect, apologize, confess, excuse, thank.等动词之后，动名词一般形式和完成体动名词所表达的含义相同，都表示动作发生在谓语动词所表示的动作之前。如
He didn’t recall saying it.=He didn’t recall having said it.
他想不起来说过这件事。
I deny/denied taking it.= I deny/denied having taken it.我否认我拿了它。
I'll never forget hearing this piece of music for the first time.=
I'll never forget having heard this piece of music for the first time.
我永远不会忘记第一次听到这首曲子的情景。
Do you remember switching the lights off before we came out?=
Do you remember having switched the lights off before we came out?

He bitterly regretted ever mentioning it.=

2.要特别注意，这些词后接的动词如果是静态的动词，一般只接其非完成体形式的动名词。如：
