No sooner ……than 一（刚）……就
一般主句谓语动词采用过去完成时，than从句的谓语动词采用一般过去，而且No sooner与as soon as相比，前者预想不到的吃惊（惊奇）更强一些; as soon as引导出的是从句：No sooner引导主句总是谓语than从句之前，如放句首，要部分倒装。
No sooner had we sat down at the table than the phone rang.
